The Nigerian Labour Congress has shut down the National Assembly as part of its ongoing industrial action in accordance to their resolve.
This is coming after the assault of the National Labour Congress, Joe Ajeoro and the Federal Government’s inability to apprehend the culprits.
From pictures that surface on the internet this morning, the gates National Assembly was shut down.
However, the Presidential villa gate which connects the National Assembly complex remained open for security personnel and other essential workers.
Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), lawmakers, legislative aides and newsmen were also prevented from entering the National Assembly.
