Singer Charles Oputa, a.k.a Charly Boy has disclosed that he keeps a coffin in his home and occasionally spends hours resting inside it.
During an episode of The Honest Bunch, co-host Ezinne inquired about the rumours regarding Charly Boy’s special sleeping habits.
Confirming the speculation, Charly Boy admitted to occasionally sleeping in the coffin, prompting further curiosity from Ezinne about the reasoning behind this practice, to which Charly Boy enigmatically responded with a single letter, “Z!”
Additionally, Charly Boy disclosed details about his marital life, revealing that he has remarried his wife on multiple occasions and expressed a diminished interest in sexual matters.
Reflecting on his impact on the Nigerian music scene, Charly Boy reminisced about his tenure as President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN).
He recalled advocating for fair compensation for artistes, insisting that corporate entities pay no less than one million Naira for their performances.
He said, “As a PMAN President, I warned the corporate bodies not to pay artistes less than 1 million Naira,” he said.
