The death of Yoruba actor Quadri Oyebanji, fondly known as Sisi Quadri, on Friday has cast a cloud of grief over Nollywood.
Among those mourning is show promoter Olawale B from Fathia Entertainment, who expressed deep sorrow in a social media post.
Olawale B lamented the loss of the beloved Anikulapo series actor, revealing that Sisi Quadri’s demise occurred just after his US visa was granted, with plans in motion for his travel.
“Alongside a picture of Sisi Quadri, the show promoter wrote: “So sad to hear the death of Nollywood actor @iamsisiquadir US visa was already Approved, date fixed already.
Who are we to question God.”
