Operatives of the Gombe Command of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested one Janty Emmanuel who was seen spraying naira notes while dancing at a social event.
She was arrested on Monday, May 20, 2024, following intelligence that spotted her spraying the Naira notes at a social event, Dele Oyewale spokesperson for the EFCC said in a statement.
According to the statement, upon arrest, Emmanuel was shown the video where she was dancing at G-Connect, Tumfure, Gombe State, and spraying Naira notes of N1000 denomination.
She admitted committing the crime and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded, the anti graft agency said.
