Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit believes Victor Osimhen will be a good addition to the Gunners squad.
Mikel Arteta’s side are expected to sign a new striker this summer after falling short of winning the Premier League title for the second consecutive season.
Petit believed Osimhen is the man that will help transform his former club to title winning side.
“I think Arsenal need a 30-goal striker to finally win the Premier League and that man could be Victor Osimhen, who has been amazing with Lille then Napoli,” Petit said in a statement.
“His dream is to come to England and he could be brilliant here. He’s physically so strong and is an out and out number nine, so he’d be my first choice.”
Osimhen, who is expected to leave Napoli this season have a release clause of around €120 to €130m in the new contract he signed last December.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been credited with an interest in the Nigeria international.
The 25-year-old has registered 17 goals and three assists in 31 games across all competitions for Napoli this season.
