Leganes Fc and Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has expressed his gratitude and appreciation towards his club side, Leganes Fc believing in him and making him feel at home.
Leganes Fc were relegated from the Spanish LA LIGA last season, but the Spanish club still believed in the services of the talented defender by keeping him at the club despite offers coming in elsewhere during the transfer window for the player’s signature.
In an interview with Sports 247, during his visit to his academy here in Nigeria (Kenneth Omeruo Academy), the talented Center back took some time out to hail his clubside, Leganes Fc, for their faith shown on him and also believing in him and making him feel at home for the first time in a long while, after several loaning out by Chelsea, during his time at Stamford Bridge. He also expressed confidence in the club.
“The Club didn’t want to let me go. This is a club that gave me the opportunity. When I was at Chelsea, I was been loaned out and I didn’t really feel at home. It was the first time in a long while that I felt at home in a club. And I have more confidence in the club and they appreciate me more”.
Kenneth Omeruo will hope to help his clubside Leganes Fc gain promotion back to the LA LIGA Santander.
