It was a game of high drama and late twists at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea fought back to snatch victory from West Ham in an electrifying Premier League showdown.

With emotions running high and the clock winding down, the Blues turned the tide in spectacular fashion, sealing a dramatic 2-1 win in the dying moments.

West Ham drew first blood in the 42nd minute after a catastrophic defensive blunder gifted Jarrod Bowen a golden opportunity. The forward pounced on the mistake and coolly slotted the ball past Filip Jorgensen, sending the visiting fans into raptures.

Chelsea pushed for an equaliser before halftime, with Cole Palmer and Jadon Sancho testing Alphonse Areola, but the West Ham goalkeeper stood firm to preserve the lead at the break.

The second half saw Chelsea’s relentless pressure finally paid off. In the 64th minute, Pedro Neto capitalised on a rebound inside the box, rifling the ball into the right side of the net to bring the hosts level.

The equaliser injected fresh energy into Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea surged forward in search of a winner.

West Ham nearly reclaimed the lead in the 70th minute when Mohammed Kudus rose high to meet a lofted pass, but his powerful header rattled off the post.

The visitors continued to press, but the Blues’ defence held firm.

The turning point arrived in the 75th minute when Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s attempted clearance spiralled into disaster. The West Ham defender inadvertently turned the ball into his own net, handing Chelsea the lead and sparking wild celebrations among the home supporters.

As the game entered stoppage time, West Ham threw everything forward. In the 95th minute, Kudus found space inside the box and unleashed a thunderous strike, only for a desperate Chelsea defender to block it on the goal line.

Then, in the 98th minute, Konstantinos Mavropanos had one final chance, drilling a low shot towards goal, but Jorgensen made a comfortable save to secure all three points for Chelsea.
