Nigerian singer Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, has accused fellow controversial artiste, Badmus Okikiola, better known as Portable, of using traditional charms, commonly referred to as juju, during their recent celebrity boxing bout.
The much-publicized match took place on Saturday as part of the ‘Chaos In The Ring’ event, organized by Game Rush and Balmoral Promotions.
The event was a follow-up to the organisers’ previous boxing showcase in December 2024 and the launch of Friday Fight Night in February 2025.
In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Speed Darlington claimed that his shoulder was dislocated during the fight despite not feeling any notable exhaustion.
He insinuated that unnatural forces were at play, suggesting that Portable may have introduced native charms into the ring, what he believes influenced the match’s outcome.
Portable emerged victorious in the highly anticipated face-off, which has since gone viral.
Tensions between the duo had been simmering prior to the fight.
According to multiple reports, Speed Darlington allegedly offered Portable ₦500,000 to perform at an event, an offer Portable reportedly considered insulting.
