Popular Nigerian comedienne and actress, Real Warri Pikin, has finally addressed widespread rumours surrounding her pregnancy after unveiling her baby bump on Father’s Day.
Warri Pikin, whose real name is Anita Asuoha, made headlines when she shared a video of herself and her children celebrating her husband, Ikechukwu.
Critics on social media questioned the authenticity of her pregnancy, with some claiming she wore a prosthetic bump, while others went as far as insinuating that her husband might be impotent.
The controversy was fueled further by controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo, who alleged the bump was fake and claimed Warri Pikin had lost a child.
However, the comic star shut down the naysayers during a recent performance at fellow comedian Ajebo’s event.
Taking the stage with her signature boldness, Warri Pikin addressed the backlash humorously, asking the crowd, “Is my husband impotent?” — a rhetorical question that sent the audience into a roar of laughter.
To further prove her critics wrong, Warri Pikin also shared a video of herself working out in a gym with her bare bump on full display.
The clip silenced many skeptics, as it seemed unlikely the bump was fabricated.
