American rapper, Yung Miami has accused South African singer, Tyla, of stealing her song.

The hip-hop star made the allegation after Tyla teased her upcoming single ‘Chanel’ on social media on Thursday.

Yung Miami claimed that she played her unreleased song titled ‘Chanel’ for Tyla and she stole the idea.

Expressing her disappointment, the rapper said seeing the South African singer teased a song similar to her song made her emotionally downcast.

“This girl really ran off with my song and I don’t know how to feel about it. Mind you, I played this song for this girl,” she lamented.

Responding to a fan, Yung Miami confirmed that she was referring to Tyla.

Yung Miami’s allegations have sparked a fresh debate about intellectual property theft and the dynamic of the relationship between Afro-American artists and African artists.

Meanwhile, Tyla has yet to react to the allegations.
