Liverpool owners to manager Arne Slot: We’ve got your back, despite recent run of losses

By Olaitan Ibrahim

Liverpool have confirmed they will not sack their manager, Arne Slot, even after a terrible run of form that saw the team lose six of their last seven matches and get knocked out of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

The Reds’ struggles continued as they were beaten 3-0 by Crystal Palace at Anfield. Before that, they had lost four straight Premier League games, falling to seventh place on the table  seven points behind league leaders Arsenal.

Slot made ten changes to the starting lineup that lost to Brentford in their previous league match, but the result didn’t improve.

The poor form has led to growing speculation about Slot’s job security.

However, according to BBC Sport, Liverpool have no plans to review his position.

The report says there is “not a chance” the club will consider sacking him, noting that the 47-year-old Dutch coach still has “plenty of credit in the bank.”

Slot guided Liverpool to the Premier League title in his first season in charge, which has strengthened the club’s trust in him despite the current slump.
