Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has told Sergio Aguero and Memphis Depay to consider leaving Barcelona following the shock departure of Lionel Messi from the club.
Messi officially bid farewell to the LaLiga side on Sunday in an emotional press conference.
The 34-year-old could not extend his stay at the Nou Camp, “because of financial and structural obstacles”.
Ferdinand has now said other Barcelona players will be questioning their future following his exit.
Speaking on his FIVE YouTube channel, he said: “If I’m [Memphis] Depay or [Sergio] Aguero, I’m saying, “I need to go back to where I came from, I want another club! I came here to play with Messi”.
“That’s why you joined Barcelona. Yes it’s a great club and I’ve got great respect for that football club, don’t get me wrong.”
