Nineteen victims of Coronavirus have died as 281 new persons have been infected in 13 states of the federation in the last 24 hours.
This is contained in a data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, (NCDC) on COVID-19 cases in the country.
The development brings Nigeria’s total confirm cases to 205,765.
According to the NCDC, out of the 281 new cases recorded in the country, this time around, FCT has the highest with 111 new cases of the virus, followed by Lagos with 34 cases, Edo 33, Kwara and Plateau states recorded 20 cases each, while Rivers has 17 new confirmed cases.
Others are: Abia with 10 cases, Imo 8, Delta and Nasarawa 7 each, Ekiti 6, Akwa-Ibom 3 and Oyo State 2 cases.
193,617 patients were discharged after they have fully recovered from the virus, while unfortunately, 2,720 Nigerians have so far lost their lives to COVID-19 in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
