Former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Edouard Cisse has lambasted Brazilian forward, Neymar, describing him as a ‘spoilt brat.’
Cisse, a former France international, who played for the Ligue 1 giants for 10 years between 1997 and 2007, pointed out that Neymar fared significantly better while at Barcelona.
“At Barcelona, there was a structure,” Cisse told Le Parisien, according to Marca.
“He did it so well that he became his ‘alter ego’.”
Cisse, who made 186 appearances for PSG, scoring 8 goals, and also played for Rennes, West Ham United, Monaco, among others, went on to point out that Brazil International encountered an entirely different situation in France.
“He is a great player, no one can dispute that, but he has become a spoilt brat and he bosses everyone around.”
PSG broke the world transfer record to sign Neymar from Barcelona in 2017 in a deal that came to a total of 489,228,117 euros, according to Marca.
Barcelona were paid £222m by the French side which was the release clause in his contract, but in reality that was just the tip of the iceberg for the Parisians.
The Brazilian forward is currently in his fifth season at PSG during which he has played 134 matches and scored 88 goals.
The current season has however started poorly for the Brazilian seeing him play 772 minutes in 7 games scoring just one goal and providing 2 assists.
Neymar scored 16 goals in 33 club matches last season.
