Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has provided the latest update on winger Eden Hazard’s condition ahead of his side’s away Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday night.
Ancelotti suggested that Hazard will not be fit for Los Blancos’ clash with Shakhtar Donetsk, adding that the Belgium international has an ‘overload’.
Hazard has missed Real Madrid’s last two matches due to a muscular injury but did end up appearing for his country over the latest international break.
Speaking ahead of Real Madrid’s clash with the Ukrainian outfit, Ancelotti said at his pre-match press conference: “Hazard is tired of having these problems.
“He is not injured, he has an overload, but I think he will be available for Barcelona [on October 24] or Osasuna [on October 27].”
Hazard joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in 2019.
