Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has been plunged into deep sorrow following the sudden passing of its Executive Chairman, Mrs. Bolatito Shobowale.
The news of her demise sent shockwaves across the community, with Acting Chairman Otunba Ladi Oluwaloni (OLO 1) describing it as a devastating loss.
According to him, the heartbreaking news reached him while on an official assignment at the Lagos State Secretariat.
“Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Shobowale was more than a leader—she was a beacon of hope, a mentor, and a mother to many. Her unwavering dedication to grassroots development and the betterment of Ayobo-Ipaja will never be forgotten,” Oluwaloni said in a moving tribute.
Shobowale was hailed as a transformational leader who spearheaded numerous developmental projects, including infrastructural advancements, improved healthcare services, and community empowerment initiatives.
Her relentless drive to uplift Ayobo-Ipaja left a lasting imprint on the LCDA’s progress.
Oluwaloni assured that her legacy of service and integrity would continue to inspire future generations.
“Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void, but we must carry forward the values she championed. May the Almighty grant her eternal rest and give us the strength to uphold her vision for Ayobo-Ipaja,” he added.
