Grammy award-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known by his stage name, Burna Boy, has become the first African singer to be featured on the Grammy Awards cover.
The singer, along with other international singers featured on the official cover of the Grammy Awards which is slated to take place in the early hours of Monday.
The ‘Ye’ crooner is set to compete in four categories at the Awards, including Best Global Music Album for I Told Them, Best African Music Performance for City Boys, Best Global Music Performance for Alone, and Best Melodic Rap Performance for Sittin on Top of the World.
He will also be making history as he’ll become the first Afrobeats artist to perform live at the most prestigious music awards ceremony in front of a global audience.
