In a recent interview on a podcast, a well-known music executive Paulo Okoye stated that Burna Boy, a Grammy Award winner, is Nigeria’s wealthiest musician.
According to Paulo Okoye, Burna Boy made $70 million to $80 million in 2023 alone.
During the podcast, Paulo described Burna Boy’s small team structure, stating that the artist’s direct support network consists of just his mother, sister, and a few close acquaintances.
He emphasized that, despite his enormous riches, Burna Boy is modest and avoids talking about his financial achievements.
In addition to commenting on Burna Boy’s financial status, Paulo Okoye also addressed rising star Rema, suggesting that the young artist has a tendency to overprice himself.
“Burna Boy Is The Richest Nigerian Musician, He Is The Only Nigerian Artiste Making Real Money. Rhema Is Not Making As He Was 2 Years Ago Because I Think He Is Overpriced.”
