Denmark midfielder, Christian Eriksen, has provided the latest update on his health condition after he suffered a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020.
Eriksen collapsed on the pitch before the end of the first half of Denmark’s Euro 2020 1-0 defeat to Finland last weekend.
The Inter Milan star was resuscitated on the pitch, with players and fans watching on in distress before he was taken to the hospital.
Providing an update on his health condition, the 29-year-old, in a post via his Instagram account on Tuesday, said he was fine, adding that he still has to go through some examinations at the hospital.
He, however, urged his Denmark teammates to play well against Belgium in their next game on Thursday.
Eriksen said, “Hello everyone, Big thanks for your sweet and amazing greetings and messages from all around the world. It means a lot to me and my family.
“I’m fine – under the circumstances. I still have to go through some examinations at the hospital, but I feel okay.
“Now, I will cheer on the boys on the Denmark team in the next matches. Play for all of Denmark.”
