Francisca Owumi BBNaija Star And Music Enthusiast Mourned By Fans And Colleagues Francisca Owumi, the first runner-up of the inaugural season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) in 2006, has sadly passed away.
The news of her death was confirmed by her family on Instagram, with a heartfelt post that read, “A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
Owumi, who was a standout contestant known for her vibrant dance moves and charming personality, reportedly died after a brief illness.
During her time on BBNaija, she shared the spotlight with other memorable contestants like Katung Aduwak, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, and the late Joseph Ada.
Following her reality TV journey, Owumi ventured into the music industry, releasing two singles—“Gbadun You” and “Diva”—under her own label, Cisca Entertainment, in 2012. She also pursued a career in writing, contributing to Revista, an international magazine based in Ghana.
Her passing marks a significant loss to the BBNaija community and all who knew her. May her soul rest in peace.
