Ex-Adamawa Governor Dumps PDP for ADC

Former Governor of Adamawa State, Mohammed Umaru Bindow, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Bindow formally registered and picked up his ADC membership card in Mubi North Local Government Area.

The former senator and one-time governor confirmed the move via social media updates on Sunday.

Bindow, who was governor from 2015 to 2019 and senator from 2011 to 2015, is expected to play a key role in ADC’s political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.

His defection adds to ADC’s growing popularity in the state.Newspaper advertising services
