Nollywood actress and movie producer, Genevieve Nnaji has made her first public appearance on social media after being away for months.
Genevieve was spotted in Abdijan, Cote D’Ivoire speaking at the 2022 edition of CANEX Weekend.
The actress spoke to delegates on the importance of film industry to development in Africa.
CANEX Weekend is a three-day gathering of creatives from across Africa and the diaspora.
The three day event began on Friday and ends on Sunday November 27.
The a-list actress joined a list of more than 100 top speakers from Africa and the diaspora representing a range of creative sectors.

Months ago, there were speculations that Genevieve suffered some form of mental illness.
It was also speculated that the actress was hospitalized particularly after she deleted pictures on her Instagram page and unfollowed everyone.
As usual, Genevieve did not react to the unfounded rumour even after a nurse in the United Kingdom claimed that the actress was admitted in the hospital she works.
Genevieve has been off social media since May 2022 after this incident.
