Owners of Manchester United and manager Erik ten Hag have disagreed over the future of Cristiano Ronaldo at the club.
Ten Hag and Joe Glazer are in disagreement over whether the club should sell the striker or not.
Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United this summer and hopes to join a Champions League club.
Until now, Ten Hag had been adamant that Ronaldo was not for sale.
But Ronaldo’s mood has been sour following the club’s defeats in their opening Premier League games.
For this reason, the former Ajax boss has decided to allow Ronaldo go, even if it means going without a replacement for the remainder of the season.
However, the Manchester Evening News say that Glazer, the club’s co-chairman, is against selling Ronaldo.
Glazer signs off every United transfer and he’s intervened in the past to block moves.
Glazer is unwilling to listen to offers for the Portugal captain.
