Rising singer, Michael Efezino Otuoba, known by his stage name Mollyfezzy, has declared that he finds his greatest inspiration within himself.
The Delta State-born singer, currently based in Accra, shared insights into his musical journey and creative process.
“It’s always been my dream to make music for the world. I know my music will make a global impact. Even before I started making music, people would often ask if I was an artist. That prompted me to pursue my passion for music.”
This early recognition of his talent fueled his passion and determination to create music that resonates with music lovers.
Asked about his new body of work he said: ”The 614 project is a fusion of Afro beat, hip-hop and trap which is unique to me and I believe its going to grow on people ”.
When asked about his musical influences, Mollyfezzy emphasized his unique approach: “I’m inventing a new genre. I’m my own biggest inspiration. God is my ultimate inspiration; without Him, I am nothing and there is nothing to achieve. He is the giver of the gift. This belief in God and belief in myself are two potent combinations anyone needs to succeed.”
Known for songs like “Right There” and “Ecstasy,” Mollyfezzy also opened up about the creative challenges he faces.
“There are times when inspiration doesn’t come easily,” he admitted. “In those moments, I relax my mind, drive around town, travel, or quarantine myself and surround myself with the right energy. Being around the right people also helps to fuel my creative process. Praying also helps me overcome those challenges.”
Fans can anticipate more groundbreaking music from this talented artiste as he continues to redefine his genre.
