The first leg ended 3–3 at Camp Nou, and with the second leg mirroring that scoreline after 90 minutes, Francesco Acerbi’s stoppage-time equalizer forced extra time.
Substitute Davide Frattesi then sealed the winner to send the San Siro into raptures and eliminate a devastated Barcelona.
