Nigerian forward Isaac Success is determined to finally come good for Watford after making his return from injury.
The 24-years-old has been plagued by injuries and off-field issues since joining the Hornets from Granada for a club-record fee in 2016.
Success has returned to training this season with Watford after rupturing his Achilles in a friendly match back in June. He could be set to make an appearance at the beginning of next year.
The Nigerian international told the club’s website that there is much more to come from him as he intends to put a disappointing spell behind him.
“Sometimes I feel disappointed with myself as I’ve got the qualities and everything a forward player will need,” he said.
“I need to do the right things and wait for my chance. I think I’ve got lots to offer the team. It’s been disappointing not getting the chance [over the years] and being injured a couple of times when it was time for me to explode.
“I just need to keep working as there is so much more to come. It’s time for me to deliver for the team and the fans as they have been waiting too long. The wait is now over.”
