In a lowkey and intimate ceremony, Priscilla, daughter of actress, Iyabo Ojo, exchanged vows with her partner, Juma Mkambala, popularly known as Jux. The wedding took place on Friday, February 7, 2025, in Tanzania, the home country of the groom.
Photos from the celebration showed the couple in stunning yellow and gold attires. Priscilla dazzled in a flowing yellow sequin gown complemented by a stylish scarf, while Jux looked dapper in a white kaftan paired with a traditional kimono and matching cap.
Viral videos from the event also showed the bride’s mother, and best friend, Eniola Adeoluwa, who donned traditional Tanzanian attires to celebrate the occasion.
Leading up to the wedding, Priscilla had welcomed family and friends to Tanzania at different times during the week. Videos shared on her Snapchat captured heartwarming moments as she greeted guests at the airport, followed by clips of both families dining and bonding together.
Recall that last year, news of Priscilla and her partner Jux’s engagement created a buzz online. Following the engagement, Jux visited Nigeria to spend quality time with the Ojo family. His arrival was met with a festive welcome at the airport, featuring traditional dancers who celebrated his presence. The warm hospitality continued at the Ojo household, where he was treated to a delightful reception.
Shortly after, videos emerged showing Priscilla joyfully travelling to Tanzania with Jux, which she affectionately referred to as her “home.” Upon arrival, she similarly received a heartfelt welcome from Jux’s family.
Meanwhile, during the week, viral videos showed the moment Priscilla asked Jux to be her Valentine in a room full of flowers and beautiful decorations.
Since their relationship became public, many Nigerians have rallied behind Jux, supporting his music career. The artiste has embraced Nigerian culture, as evident in his hit single ‘Ololufe Mi’, which has garnered significant views on YouTube and received enthusiastic comments from his Nigerian fans.
