The Nollywood star, visibly elated by the film’s phenomenal performance, took to Instagram to thank her fans for their unwavering support.
“Thank you everyone Iyalode still showing in all cinemas in Nigeria,” she wrote in a post that drew over 23,000 likes in a matter of hours.
The comment section was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues alike.
Actress Yewande Adekoya-Abiodun and many others hailed Abraham’s achievement, with messages like “Big energy! Congratulations GM
” and “More is the deal and God will make it happen .”
Iyalode, a gripping tale woven around themes of tradition, power, and womanhood, has resonated deeply with audiences, cementing Abraham’s position as one of Nollywood’s most bankable and visionary storytellers.
With its impressive opening figures, Iyalode is poised to become one of the highest-grossing Nigerian films of the year. The film continues to screen in cinemas nationwide.
