The forward had a hand in all of Leicester City’s goals as they defeat Zorya Luhanak 3-0 in their opening Europa League match.
Iheanacho started on the night for the Foxes as they began their European adventure at home to the Ukrainians. He created the game’s first goal when he assisted James Maddison on the 29th minute.
Few moments before half time, Iheanacho’s lovely through ball set up Harvey Barnes to add to Leicester’s advantage. The English side went into the break with a comfortable 2-0 lead with the visitors finding it hard to get to grips with the game.
On the 67th minute, Iheanacho would cap off an impressive all round performance with a goal to his name. He pounced on a loosed ball inside Zorya’s box before colly slotting past the goalkeeper to make it 3-0. He was substituted shortly after with Ayoze Perez coming in place of the Nigerian.
Leicester now sit atop group G and will travel to Greece next week to face AEK Athens before taking on Braga in their second and third group stage games respectively. Before that, they travel to Arsenal for next Premier League game on Sunday.
