Nigerian goal poacher set to quit Swedish club in the summer

Nigerian goal poacher Moses Ogbu set to quits his Swedish club Mjallby AIF in the summer according to his agent Gustaf Grauers.

The 29-year-old striker is one of the leading in the Swedish Allsvenskan after notching 12 goals in the league this season, just a goal shy of the joint top scorers.

However, his agent Gustaf Grauers has told fotbolldirekt.se Ogbu will not extend at Mjällby.

“Yes, I have called and talked to Hasse Larsson (Mjällby’s sports director) about it. I said that Moses will in all probability go abroad next year,” he disclosed.

“And I also took the opportunity to thank Hasse and “Mackan” (Marcus Lantz) for giving Moses the chance to show how good he can be.”

However, the agent said the player’s destination is not yet clear.

“It’s too early to say. I talk to clubs both from the east and from the west,” he said.

“We are having talks quite open now, as we are only in the first part of November.

“It is currently impossible to answer where he will end up.”

Mjallby AIF is seventh on the table with 38 points from 27 matches.
