Nollywood legend RMD, wife, celebrate 24 years of wedded bliss

It’s not every day you witness a love story as timeless as that of Nollywood legend Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) and his beloved wife, Abiks.

Today, the power couple celebrates their 24th wedding anniversary, and the joy radiates far beyond their home, lighting up social media with heartfelt tributes from fans and celebrities alike.

With a simple yet profound message, RMD took to Instagram to share his gratitude: “24 and counting… Thanking God for His grace and mercy, which are sufficient to overcome it all. Happy Wedding Anniversary, Abiks. #HappyAnniversaryToUs.”

The post, adorned with love and admiration, quickly garnered over 16,000 likes, with fans and industry heavyweights pouring in their congratulations. From Timidakolo’s heartfelt “Happy anniversary Daddy and Mummy” to Bisola Aiyeola’s vibrant “Happy Anniversaryyyyyy my Papa and aunty,” the love was boundless.

Omoni Oboli chimed in with her signature warmth, calling Abiks her “sweetest big sister,” while Osas Ighodaro sent prayers of “God’s blessings always.”
