Nottingham Forest have finalized the signing of Swiss international winger Dan Ndoye from Bologna, bolstering their attack ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League season.

The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract with an option to extend until June 2031, following a successful medical, as confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The deal, valued at €40 million with an additional €5 million in performance-based add-ons, includes a 10% sell-on clause for Bologna.

Ndoye’s arrival marks a significant coup for Forest, who outmaneuvered Napoli to secure the versatile forward, known for his pace, creativity, and ability to play across the front line.

Ndoye, who scored nine goals and provided six assists in 41 matches for Bologna last season, helping them win the Coppa Italia, is expected to replace Anthony Elanga, who departed for Newcastle United.

His dynamic performances, including a standout showing for Switzerland at Euro 2024, caught the attention of Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, who prioritized the signing to strengthen Nuno Espírito Santo’s squad for their return to European competition.

The transfer, Forest’s third major signing this summer following Brazilian duo Igor Jesus and Jair Cunha, signals their ambition to compete domestically and in Europe.

Ndoye is set to join the team for pre-season preparations, with fans eagerly awaiting his debut.
