Nottingham Forest defeated Tottenham 1-0 in a dramatic match that saw key moments in both halves, moving into third position on the table

The game’s only goal came in the 28th minute, when Morgan Gibbs-White made a precise pass to Anthony Elanga, who calmly slotted the ball into the bottom left corner to give Nottingham the lead.

Tottenham struggled to break down the defence despite dominating possession, with several attempts thwarted by goalkeeper Matz Sels.

The second half saw some heated moments, including a red card for Tottenham’s Djed Spence in the 94th minute, after he received a second yellow card for a foul.

Despite some late efforts from Tottenham, including a free-kick from Heung-Min Son that narrowly missed, Nottingham held on for the win.

Tottenham’s Radu Dragusin and Djed Spence were both booked, with Spence’s sending-off adding to the frustrations. In the final stages, the game saw substitutions and a late corner for Nottingham, but the result remained unchanged.

Overall, it was a hard-fought victory for Nottingham, who managed to defend resolutely and capitalize on their opportunity in the first half.
