Former Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu, under the Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, is dead.
Onu, aged 72, reportedly died after a brief illness at a hospital in Nigeria.
Onu who was a former Governor of Abia State, was a federal minister between 2015 and 2022.
The deceased who was an engineer by profession resigned from Buhari’s cabinet in 2022 to contest in the presidential primary election of the All Progressive Congress (APC), but he lost to President Bola Tinubu.
