Napoli are back in the news with Galatasaray reacting by making another bid for Victor Osimhen — this time increasing their offer to €75 million after they waived off the initial €70 million.
The revised offer, now on the Napoli agenda, is for €40 million in upfront payment and €35 million in instalments. Most importantly, Galatasaray added solid bank guarantees to secure the move, something Napoli had demanded.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis rebuffed Galatasaray’s €70 million bid earlier and insisted on full payment of €75 million before any transfer can take place.
The Napoli ball is back in their court now as Osimhen remains a big target all over Europe, despite having had a mixed 2024/25 campaign.
Napoli inked the Super Eagles forward in 2020 and have been so far not willing to let him go without a top-rated offer.
