Portable apologizes to Pastor he harassed, humiliated

Controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, also known as Portable, has publicly apologised to the pastor he slapped for preaching in his bar.

This apology follows a week of fierce criticism on social media. A video of the dramatic scene has leaked online, showing Portable in tears as he asks forgiveness from the preacher.

The event occurred in Portable’s bar, where the preacher had been preaching, resulting in a violent conflict between them.

The incident rapidly drew significant notice, with many demanding an apology.

The viral clip also features Testimony Jaga, a renowned gospel singer, who played a crucial role in facilitating the reconciliation.

Testimony Jaga had previously issued Portable a three-day ultimatum to address the incident, which prompted the singer’s public apology.

In the footage, Portable is seen expressing deep remorse, stating that his actions were wrong and not driven by malice.

He earnestly pleads with both the pastor and the public for forgiveness. The emotional exchange has elicited mixed reactions online, with many discussing the sincerity of Portable’s apology.
