Controversial singer Portable has publicly praised Burna Boy, referring to him as the biggest among peers and applauding his authenticity.
In a post on his Instagram Story, Portable shared a photo of Burna Boy alongside a glowing tribute.
“1 man na 7 man you big pass them @burnaboygram. Zazuu no fake life na scam life. Akoi grace. If you wan know the real about the top ask me. I follow dey at the top. Only God see who big is big,” Portable wrote on Monday night.
Portable’s message comes amid an ongoing feud between Burna Boy, the self-proclaimed African Giant, and socialite Cubana Chief Priest.
The controversy erupted over the weekend when Burna Boy referred to Cubana Chief Priest as a “low-budget Rick Ross” in an Instagram post.
In response, the socialite accused Burna Boy of jealousy and alleged that the singer’s Grammy win was influenced by his relationship with the embattled US rapper and music producer Diddy.
Adding to the drama, Cubana Chief Priest vowed to facilitate the release of musician, Speed Darlington, who was recently arrested for allegedly cyberstalking Burna Boy.
Observers see Portable’s message also as an endorsement of Burna Boy’s long-term rift with Davido. The ‘ZaZoo Zehh’ singer has not been on good terms with Davido for some time.
