Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club of Lagos have commenced training ahead of friendly match against Pepsi Football Academy.
The friendly match would hold on Saturday morning at Agege Stadium. The friendly match would enable Prince Kazeem Eletu FC to intensify their preparation ahead of invitational club tournament scheduled for Morocco next year January.
It was yesterday that Prince Kazeem Eletu FC arrived Agege Stadium to begin three days training session that would end tomorrow.
Although Prince Kazeem Eletu FC lost 0-1 to AS Racines FC recently in a friendly match and the team are under pressure to bounce back to their winning ways.
Our correspondent who visited their training session yesterday observed that most of the players were committed to the tactical training of French coach, Gilles Hogon who was busy teaching them shooting and set pieces which he observed that the team lacked in their previous friendly matches.
Team coordinator of Prince Kazeem Eletu FC, Lateef Ojora Ogunfowora said the friendly match would help the coaching crew to assess the players’ fitness and see who would make the final list to the Moroccan invitational club tournament.
“The management of Pepsi Football Academy has invited us to play with them and we need to honour them because they are equally a good side as far as football clubs are concerned in Lagos. It is going to be another tough match for the players knowing full well that they have lost their last match against AS Racines FC,” he said.
In a related development the U-15 Prince Kazeem Eletu FC yesterday massacred Samadek Football Academy 7-2 in a friendly match played at Osapa football playground, Lekki, Lagos.
Technical Director of the club, Alex Copollani said the friendly match was a good one for the young team noted that many of the players would soon graduate to the senior team.
Prince Kazeem Eletu would train this evening at Agege Stadium to intensify their preparation ahead of tomorrow friendly match against Pepsi Football Academy.
