Popular US rapper Bobby Shmurda who rose to lime light with the hit song Hot Nigga has been denied parole.
The 26 year old rapper and songwriter whose real name is Ackquille Jean Pollard was arrested in 2014 and sentenced to seven years in prison for gang conspiracy, gun and drug charges.
In 2015 the rapper was caught trying to smuggle a sharp metal object into Riker Island while in custody. He pleaded guilty to the 4th degree conspiracy and 2nd degree criminal weapon possession. He told the court he was forced to take the sentence that he didn’t want to take the sentence.
Bobby has been in custody since his initial arrest in 2014, he has been denied parole and will not be released anytime soon.
Although plans are already in motion for Bobby to release new music upon his release, his fans will have to wait till 2021 before any new music can be released.
