Super Eagles defender, Semi Ajayi came up big for West Brom against Liverpool to earn a point for his side, Sports247 reports.
Sadio Mane had put Liverpool in front with a sublime goal after just 12 minutes. The Senegalese forward chested down a fine pass and turned to fire home inside the box.
Liverpool dominated the tie but could not find that crucial second goal, leaving West Brom with a chance of getting back into the game.
Ajayi leveled proceedings with a sumptuous header in the 82nd minute to earn the Baggies a much-needed point. The goal was his first in the Premier League.
The defender had a decent all-round game, forming part of a resilient West Brom defense. He made 7 clearances and won 4 duels.
