Super Eagles star Emmanuel Dennis has been dropped from Club Brugge’s Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night due to disciplinary reasons.
The 23-year-old Nigeria international has scored once in three appearances for the Belgium outfit in the competition this season.
The Club Brugge manager Philippe Clement told a news conference ahead of Tuesday night encounter at Signal Iduna Park: “Dennis is not in the selection tomorrow. He is missing for disciplinary reasons.
“He is fit, but he is not in the selection against Dortmund.
“Dennis has broken some rules of the club. That is the only reason. I will not elaborate on his situation further.”
However, he will be also be fined after he angrily got off the team bus because he was not allowed to sit where he wanted.
Club Brugge are third in Group F with four points from three matches with Lazio sitting second with five points, while FC Zenit are bottom on a point.
They battle leaders Dortmund tonight in continuation of the competition.
