Out-of-favour Super Eagles striker Imoh Ezekiel has hit the ground running with his new club in the United Arab Emirates.
The 27-year old scored his maiden goal in his debut for Al-Jaziri as they romped to a 3-1 win over in an away tie in the UAE league on Tuesday night
Ezekiel came on as a 79th-minute substitute and he scored 10 minutes later to make it 3-1 for his team.
Ali Ahmed Mabkhout had scored two goals for Al-Jaziri while Joao Pedro scored Baniyas’ solitary goal in the 71st minute.
Tuesday’s win was Al-Jaziri’s second league win after four games which place them in fourth position on eight points.
Ezekiel joined Al-Jaziri from the Belgian Jupiler club Kortrijk during the last transfer window.
