Two-week Leave: Tinubu leaves UK for France, says aide

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on political and other matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari, stated on Friday that President Bola Tinubu has left London, the United Kingdom for Paris, France, for an important engagement. 

Masari shared the news on his verified X handle, @KabirIbrah64, stating that he had the honour of visiting the president at his private residence in the UK. 

“Today, I had the honour of visiting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his private residence in the United Kingdom, where we engaged in productive discussions,” Masari said.

Following their discussions, Masari confirmed they are now heading to Paris for another significant event. “We then departed for Paris, France, for another important engagement,” he added.

Although no further details were given about the Paris engagement, it is believed to be part of President Tinubu’s junketing trips to attend to his health needs.

“Today, I had the honour of visiting President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his private residence in the United Kingdom, where we engaged in productive discussions. 

We then departed for Paris, France, for another important engagement,” Masari said. 

It could be recalled that Tinubu departed Nigeria on Wednesday, October 2, for a two-week working vacation in the UK as part of his annual leave. 

The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a statement on October 2, announced Tinubu’s departure for the two-week vacation.
