Ubi Franklin Exposes the Dark Side of the Music Industry

Popular Nigerian talent manager, Ubi Franklin, has shed light on what he describes as the biggest challenge artistes face after attaining fame, promiscuity.Nigerian history books

Speaking on a recent episode of the Culture Sonic Podcast, Franklin noted that artists are generally easier to manage before they become successful, but their behaviour tends to change dramatically once they achieve stardom.

According to him, male and female artists alike often fall into a lifestyle of excessive sexual indulgence, which becomes a major management hurdle.

“The only artiste that can be controlled is the one that has not had a hit,” Franklin said. “Once they have a hit, the first biggest problem for artists is womanising. For female singers, it’s promiscuity as well.”Newspaper advertising services
