Yoruba Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has publicly addressed the arrest of her former assistant after discovering that she had been stealing from her.
In a video shared on her Instagram, Biola explained the situation, revealing that despite her efforts to maintain a positive relationship, her assistant had been dishonest and deceitful.
“I got her arrested yesterday. People were asking me to sue her in court, but I didn’t want to take it that far,” Biola shared. She went on to express frustration over the assistant’s continued lies and attempts to frame her, saying, “She is still lying, and they are looking for something to use against me.”
The mother of one reflected on the challenges of trying to please others, acknowledging that no matter how hard one tries, it’s impossible to satisfy everyone. “You can never satisfy them. If you know me very well, I don’t easily take offense or see people’s faults,” Biola continued. “I am not perfect, but I realize that you can’t satisfy everyone.”
In her caption, Biola expressed her exhaustion and emotional toll, stating, “I’m just tired and weak! People will make you question your sanity.” She also took the opportunity to thank those who had reached out to her in support during the difficult time, expressing her gratitude for their love.
“I’m grateful for the love,” Biola concluded.
